Post Date:01/16/2026 8:13 PMOn Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 1:45 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to a traffic collision with injuries at the intersection of Mission Blvd. and Phillips Dr. When officers arrived, they located an adult male who had sustained serious injuries. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the other involved vehicle remained at the scene. At this time, drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the collision.
This crash is being investigated by the Pomona Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).
