Dear Community Leaders:
At the May 19th City Council meeting, City Council approved and adopted a new Council Sponsorship Policy which replaces the Finding of Public Benefit practice.
Please read the policy in its entirety here.
Applicants (nonprofit organizations or city-recognized neighborhood associations) may request sponsorship funds by submitting a Sponsorship Request Form below. All sponsorships are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the policy.
If you are interested in submitting a request for sponsorship:
- Complete the Sponsorship Request Form found below (required)
- Submit a completed IRS W9 Form (required if this is your first donation request or if your organization details have changed)
- Organizations are encouraged to document event details (expenditure items/amounts, number of attendees, photos, etc.). This will support evaluation of the event for future considerations, and potential use on City social media to serve our outreach efforts and highlight the public benefits enjoyed as a result of the City’s support.
IMPORTANT – Keep in mind that if your request is approved by the Council, the full amount requested is not guaranteed. Sponsorship approvals and amounts are made per each Councilmember’s discretion.
